Fellow Prospectors! My name is Tom Ballato, and welcome to The Next Prospect. I am a school teacher and former basketball coach (at least for now) who decided it was time to pursue my passion, the love of basketball. I've been a fan of the game since I could remember, attended college basketball games since I was old enough to go on my own (The Jimmy V Classic every year), and now I am a college basketball season ticket holder.

Through the love of the game, I have met some amazing people along the way who share a similar passion. What I've enjoyed most is building genuine relationships and meeting new people along the way.

I started reaching out to some of my favorite former college basketball players to interview and share their basketball journeys from college and beyond. In doing so I've learned so much about overseas basketball and have been able to share with fans journeys of basketball players all over the world!
